Recap: Furhoof’s 2022 (So Far)
Sorry we haven’t been very active as of late. So much happening in the world. It can be a lot. Social Media can be a lot.
The good news though? We’re still cookin’ away at new things… but what’s even better than waiting around for stuff that’s not out yet? Checking out releases 0-81 over at furioushooves.bandcamp.com and below you’ll find what we’ve done so far in 2022…
#81 Sunglow’s ‘Like a man overboard asking for a drink of water’
SMALL ALBUMS calls it “a cave turned inside out like a plastic gardening glove.”
#80 Drew Fitchette’s ‘Witness Marks’
Fog Songs says it “conjures up images of driving slowly through hazy barren rural landscapes in soft golden sunlight, lost in a pensive reverie.”
#79 Loretta’s Museum’s ‘Collected Streams: Singing Songs 2014-2021’
Lo spoke of building the “best of” LP with Various Small Flames, “it’s a visceral experience of perfectly reliving my state of mind when it was created.”
Along with Lo’s ‘Collected Streams’ we reissued their entire discography onto tape for the first time ever! 4 unbelievably beautiful, mostly instrumental, folksy albums perfect to soundtrack ______. Grab the 4-pack here!
Fog Songs says the “glistening sparkly ethereal atmospheres & Deva's beautiful silky dream voice will elevate you & transport you to a higher plane...far beyond the boundaries of our ordinary mundane existence.”
#77 German Error Message’s ‘After the Warmth’
Various Small Flames calls it “a record rooted in the isolation of iced windows & early dark…” while Dying for Bad Music gave it a 10/10 & ranked it #7 on their best records of 2011.
Thanks everyone for staying rad. Stay safe out there and don’t forget to be kind to one another.
