Biography
1,000 Pieces is a St. Louis born and bread one man band. Tyler Duddy is that one man band who writes music that incorporates the more complex rhythms, patterns and structures of math and post rock – but expresses it a little more accessibly. With ‘Yellow & Black & Black,’ Duddy wanted to write an album that could be easily enjoyed while offering more just beneath the surface. Written and recorded in 2009 at the fresh baby-faced age of 19, ‘Yellow & Black & Black’ finally saw the light of day on January 22nd 2013 digitally worldwide, as well as Furious Hooves’ first ever limited edition vinyl release.
Since the release of ‘Yellow & Black & Black’ Duddy has written & recorded various themed singles from what it’s like being a ghost with a “Day Job” for the Furhoof Halloween Split Series to asking Scottie Pippen “Where You Go” when MJ needed him the most for ‘Furious Hoops, Vol.01.’
